  • Welcome to week 260 (12/24/2015) of Travel Photo Thursday and our Christmas Eve edition! Wherever you are, and whatever traditions you celebrate, the best of the season! In just a few short hours I begin my journey to Barcelona, where I will land 9:35 am on Christmas morning. I'm sure you'll all know how excited I am. This is the first major travel I've done since last winter, so I feel long over due for an adventure. This week I am publishing a short Travel Photo Thursday 2015 round-up. The seven posts below were the most commented on in 2015. Please enjoy!

Welcome to week 260 (12/24/2015) of Travel Photo Thursday and our Christmas Eve edition! Wherever you are, and whatever traditions you celebrate, the best of the season! In just a few short hours I begin my journey to Barcelona, where I will land 9:35 am on Christmas morning. I’m sure you’ll all know how excited I am. This is the first major travel I’ve done since last winter, so I feel long over due for an adventure. This week I am publishing a short Travel Photo Thursday 2015 round-up. The seven posts below were the most commented on in 2015. Please enjoy!

We’re pretty easy going here at BTS, but please remember to follow a few guidelines…

To join in the Travel Photo Thursday fun simply post a photo on your blog.

Return here and place your link in the Mr. Linky at the bottom of this post.

Please post a link to a post featuring a travel photo, not simply a link to your blog.

The Twitter hashtag for Travel Photo Thursday is #TPThursday.

Only one link per blog.

As a courtesy, please post a link to Budget Travelers Sandbox.

Finally, please leave a comment, and I do hope you’ll take the time to visit a few of the other great folk who linked up this week.

What a year! Great selection of photos. The Lemon Meringue pie looks very tempting to me right now. Here’s to an awesome 2016!

I see a post there that I’ve missed and I will check out the bamboo forest next. But before I go there, have a Happy Christmas Nancie, which I know you will do seeing you are off on a travel adventure. I am totally jealous but looking forward to hearing about it all. I can’t think of better places to be going than Spain and Portugal.

Water and beach shots always gets people in. I think there is something calming about water and the sea. Hope you enjoy your Christmas Nancie and thank you for your support during 2015. Looking forward to hearing all about Spain in 2016! xx

Merry Christmas, Nancie. I’m glad the smog finally released you from Beijing and you made it to Europe. I’ve always enjoyed your TPT posts. You’ve really upped my awareness of Korea, Chiang Mai and Nova Scotia over the years. The Lemon Meringue looks so tempting, and it’s making me think that a “Guess where this is?” post would be fun because I would have never guessed Korea.

  • Cooking with Chef Chris today at Founders House in Annapolis Royal was amazing. All of the dishes used local ingredients. Our first course was fresh speckled trout (it was swimming this morning!) on beet and apple purée, pickled beets, garnished with fresh apple and drizzled with green oil. Delicious!!
