Traditional Korean Wedding Parade

This is a reenactment of a traditional Korean wedding parade (called Ch’inyoung). I took this in the popular tourist area Insa-Dong in down town Seoul.

  1. Really cool picture, Nancie! Is the guy on the horse the groom? Where's the bride?

  2. Hi Dina…..Yes, the guy on the horse is the groom. He is going to meet his bride. I have no idea where she might be 🙂

  3. Love the colour combinations, that really shouldn't “work” together (esp the hats), but somehow they do.

  4. @Az…………….You are right!, but in this parade it works 🙂
