Welcome to another week of Travel Photo Thursday. We’ve had a cool, rainy, and dull week here in Daejeon. I know the farmers need the rain, but I can’t wait to see the sun return. For today’s Travel Photo Thursday I’ve returned to the Royal Flora in Chiang Mai. Flower shots always brighten up a dull day!

Absolutely gorgeous and a much needed burst of color for those of us still stuck in winter.
Thank you! Yes, and that would be me too. Everything is still gray and brown here in Daejeon, although yesterday on the walk to the office I noticed that the buds are starting to pop.

It’s grey and rainy here today too so the beautiful shots of flowers were a welcome bright spot this morning. A nice reminder that spring is, in fact, on the way.

The flowers are gorgeous and you captured them so beautifully. I love the white lily with the pollen.
I love floral pictures and these are just beautiful. You really captured the vibrant colors. The water lily reflection is very Monet looking. Orchids are my favorites so the last two got me.

I’ve been hearing so many great things about Chiang Mai recently, and it looks absolutely beautiful. The photo of the water lily is fantastic.
So nice to see more flowers – it really is amazing to see the variety on display.
Your closeups are amazing. I need to work on remembering to use a small tripod since I’m generally too shaky for good closeups. I particularly love the last one–purity.

Gorgeous flowers! I love flower photos, makes me look forward to spring. The 2nd photo, the pink one is probably my favorite of the bunch. Although I really do adore the lily pad photo too.
