Jim at Hole in My Soles is hosting another week of Magnificent Monday. This weeks theme is “quirky”. I’m a little late, but I know that somewhere in the world it is still Monday.
I’ve taken my share of quirky photos over the years, and here are a few for your viewing pleasure.
Meet Ginseng Man…Taken at the International Ginseng Festival in Geumsan, Korea. The Koreans love their ginseng.

This quirky fella sits outside a bookstore in downtown Daejeon.

Say Hi to the “Pottery Kids”, taken at a pottery village just outside of Daejeon. I’d love to have these two in my yard (if I had one!).
_____________
I hope you enjoyed these shots from my quirky Korean world.

OK – you get my vote for “Most Quirky” with the Ginseng Man. :)Well done!
I love that ginseng man! Hey Nancie, quite a lot of interesting info about growing ginseng. Have you blogged anything like that yet?
I can’t help myself, but to laugh and laugh as I stare at the Ginseng man. The name sounds as funny as it looks in the picture. That was really a nice picture it made my day great.
Wow… the first and last look like something out of a nightmare to me! Great shots, Nancie!
Haha, everything is so quirky and funny to me when it comes from Asia. I went to Korea in 2010 and felt like I laughed for two weeks straight. Not in any malicious way, but it’s just all good fun and banter. So many weird things 😉 The statue from Daejeon looks really good though, he looks cute 🙂
Hi Annie! I agree, Asia can be weird and quirky a lot to the time. Korea, for me, it the quirkiest. Just when I think I have seen it all something else pops up!
