Bangkok and the tuk-tuk go together like apple pie and ice cream; impossible to think of one without the other. The “stretch” tuk-tuk gives a whole new meaning to the limousine and brings it in to the world of the budget traveler!

It certainly has grown! I had no idea that they’d supersized tuk tuks. I guess you’ve gotta give the people what they want.

Nancie,
Wow, I love the idea of a stretch tuk-tuk. This is the first I’ve seen and it’s really cool. First time I ever heard a Canadian say “apple pie and ice cream” like that, too. You’re full of surprises, today!

OMG, amazing mod on this TukTuk!
That’s cool! I wonder how they can still drive it, it would be pretty heavy when fully loaded.
Travelling works of art. Just posted my Travel Thursday photo of another form of transport, a man and his hosre.
Nancie,
Nice photo of a stretch tuk tuk, or should I say tuk-tuk-tuk-tuk-tuk?
Jason
That’s quite a tuk-tuk! Or as Jason said, tuk-tuk-tuk-tuk-tuk! I hope the engine is strong enough to pull the vehicle along!
