Bangkok and the tuk-tuk go together like apple pie and ice cream; impossible to think of one without the other. The “stretch” tuk-tuk gives a whole new meaning to the limousine and brings it in to the world of the budget traveler!

  1. It certainly has grown! I had no idea that they’d supersized tuk tuks. I guess you’ve gotta give the people what they want.

  2. Nancie,
Wow, I love the idea of a stretch tuk-tuk. This is the first I’ve seen and it’s really cool. First time I ever heard a Canadian say “apple pie and ice cream” like that, too. You’re full of surprises, today!

  3. OMG, amazing mod on this TukTuk!

  4. That’s cool! I wonder how they can still drive it, it would be pretty heavy when fully loaded.

  5. Travelling works of art. Just posted my Travel Thursday photo of another form of transport, a man and his hosre.

  6. Nancie,
Nice photo of a stretch tuk tuk, or should I say tuk-tuk-tuk-tuk-tuk?

  7. That’s quite a tuk-tuk! Or as Jason said, tuk-tuk-tuk-tuk-tuk! I hope the engine is strong enough to pull the vehicle along!
