Hi Jackie. It really was a fun event, and of course the glorious weather that day was an added bonus. Peggy’s Cove can be very dramatic when the weather is bad, but I don’t think 40 artists would have wanted to sit and paint in bad weather for two days!

Hi Leigh. There were several that I would have loved to have bid on, but carting paintings around the world is no fun. I’m actually starting to think about getting rid of a lot of the stuff I have accumulated here in Korea. This is probably my last contract here, and I will be leaving Korea. I did actually buy a couple of small things when I visited Blue Rocks. One is a piece of driftwood that has a scene painted on it, and a couple of small photos. I am going to do a post on that soon. So many things to write about, and so little time…haha 🙂

It was an awesome event, and one that I hope to get back to again. I always try to buy local whenever I can.

Hi Jill! There were some beautiful pieces. I would have loved to have purchased a couple, but Korea is not my permanent home. I have enough stuff to get rid of when I do leave. I can’t be carting any more around the world!

Hi Mary, I hope you make it to Nova Scotia soon. Yes, I agree that it is a great way for a community to come together. However, it is worrisome when no one really is responsible. Peggy’s Cover Lighthouse is famous around the world, and I think there has to be a government body or private organization given the funding and responsibility for its upkeep.
