There’s a large Chinese community here in Chiang Mai, so there were major celebrations here this past weekend. Of course, that meant lots of cute little kids dressed in their finest running wild. When the energy ran out Dad’s shoulder was the spot of choice. Isn’t she cute?
For the budget traveler festivals are one of the best ways to stretch the budget dollars. The New Years festivities here in Chiang Mai meant lots of free entertainment and awesome food stalls overflowing with delicious cheap eats; a budget travelers paradise!

What a sweetie! Too, much New Years celebrating, I bet !
I was wishing I had a shoulder to sleep on by the end of the day. Lucky girl!
I love her hair! Too cute.
That is such a lovely photo. I bet she’d been really hyper all day and then just pooped later. 🙂
I’m a bit jealous of all that food you must have been enjoying!

A priceless image, Nancie! I have wonderful memories of Chiang Mai from half a lifetime ago. Following your adventures is enticing me to go back…
How sweet! The kids were in such awe of the evening activities, it was adorable 🙂
