The Korean Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (KIAST) is home to a highly entertaining group of geese. Anytime I am on the Daejeon campus I hunt them down to get a few shots. However, on the evening that I took this shot I was intent on getting to the Jane Goodall lecture, and the geese were not on my agenda. Then, a very young child dashed out onto the road. Looking around the kid’s mom and wondering why he had made the dash, I realized it was the geese. There they were in the standing in the road looking ready to make a road trip. Thankfully mom caught the kid before he got mowed down by a car. Once I saw that he was alright I whipped out my camera and captured this shot.

Great shot Nancie! They are lined up perfectly! I love how the kid stood out from the rest.
Yes, the little guy looks really feisty.
Yes, the little guy doesn’t want to get left behind!
They’re so cute. I like how they all look as if they’re concentrating on crossing the road!
Hey, nice and crisp. I like the way this has been crafted. Keep up the great work.
