Most prix fix menus that I come across in America seem to be for the more expensive restaurants. Yours is quite reasonable. The fish looks so delicious, and I’m always up for apple tart. We probably would have picked that restaurant because my daughter’s name is Maria, and then we could joke the whole time about wondering where the other 2 are. Lovely beach walk and photos, too.

You are so right! Eating the menu of the day, a fixed price is usually the best deal around. I love them. It’s a great way to save money and really have some delicious food.

Your Algarve posts have me dreaming of seafood, beaches and that beautiful country. Wish we made it to the coast. This is such a delicious looking meal and for cheap too. One of the things we appreciated about Portugal was the great meals that were so affordable.

I’ve never had a fixed menu meal although I know they are cost effective for what you get. That salad is nearly leaping off the plate. I like it when people put a lot of thought into preparing a nice salad.
