I took this shot on the Halifax waterfront this summer. Five years had passed since I had been home, and I was amazed at all the changes on the boardwalk. For one thing it is much longer now. Plus there are new restaurants to enjoy, and condominiums with beautiful views of the Halfiax harbor. These bikes, sporting the Canadian flag, were for hire by the hour. If you are ever in Halifax, and like biking, this is a great way to see the downtown core. Mind you, if you leave the boardwalk, be prepared for a few steep hills!
