Yes, a nice surprise. I love Thai food as well, but living in Korea gives me little chance to enjoy other cuisines, so when I’m in Thailand I eat a little of everything. With all the expats here it’s not difficult to find many different ethnic restaurants.

In reply to Andrew Graeme Gould. Hi Graeme...The lady who served me was definitely not Thai. The gentleman who took my money at the counter was Thai. There is probably an Israeli/Thai connection somewhere in the family.

Falafel in Thailand? That’s a cool surprise! I’m always interested in how certain foods “travel” to different countries and how they differ (or don’t) from their original incarnations.

Looks wonderful to me from your description and food shots, Nancie! How interesting. Do you know if the owners are Thai or Israeli?

I miss this kind of food over here, because what is available is totally meat based, unlike the Israeli and Lebanese run restaurants and mall food court outlets in Sydney.
