Hi Sophie, May/Early June; September/October. Don’t come in the winter (cold), and the summer is hot, humid and rainy. The rain usually starts in July for about a month. Last summer the rains extended into July.

In May and June things are green and there are flowers around and not much rain/humidity. In September and October you can enjoy the fall colors and no humidity.

Hi Vera! It’s funny everyday Korea is not nearly as colorful as what I see when I go to festivals, and the Changing for the Guard. Black and gray are more prominent in day to day living (which makes things rather blah!)

Thanks Jackie. I wish modern life here was a bit more colorful. Koreans love to wear black most of the time, and the two favorite colors for cars are white and black. Dreary! Modern Korean need to take a lesson from their past traditions, when it comes to color 🙂
