In reply to Michele {Malaysian Meanders}. Hi Michele. I'm not so sure about some of the monks these days. I see them at the bank machines, sitting on the sidewalk smoking, with cell phones, etc. They really are coming into the modern world (at least some of them). I haven't heard of any "monk" scandals in Thailand lately, but who knows.
