Quite often the bikes aren’t that roadworthy plus you have to watch out for everyone else on the road. I prefer walking, which isn’t always safe either!!

I used AIG for travel insurance. I have to send them all the receipts and forms this week. Hopefully, they will pay for everything. I’ll keep you posted.

I am back in Daejeon. and missing the warmth of Thailand already!

Were you driving or walking? We’ve escaped injury (but not illness! :)) so far, but our friends we just met recently had had a motorbike accident in Cambodia and it was enough to make us definitely not want to deal with it in case that was already up for debate. I’m so glad you were well-taken care of for the circumstances. Will keep all your pointers in mind for sure. What insurance did you have? (And did they cover the $3 expense too? ;))
