Barcelona is one of my favorite cities and it was shocking to read about the attack on innocent people enjoying their holiday while enjoying the sights and sounds of Las Ramblas. You’ve captured some of Barcelona’s charms with your pictures and your sentiments are shared by so many.

such a terrible tragedy where innocent lives are lost. My heart crys for the families affected by this senseless act. And in particular the family of the little 7 year Australian boy who was killed. He kept lego in his pocket. Such innocence.

It’s so sad and terrifying to see what the world has become. It’s also become increasingly depressing to watch the news everyday. My heart and prayers go out to those affected in Barcelona. Yes it is abhorrent that these cowardly acts of terrorism are taking out innocent tourists comprising all ages, race and sex. Why they choose some of the most beautiful cities in the world to do this is beyond comprehension. I hope it will not deter people from visiting this beautiful city.

Barcelona is such a wonderful and vibrant city. I recall my time on Las Ramblas and am saddened by the terrorist attack that just occurred. Keep traveling!
