Happy New Year! What a year full of changes and contrasts. I moved oversees a long time ago when I was younger and didn’t have much. I have a small idea on how emotional those moments are. I am sure you are going to have tons of beautiful adventures in Canada. Hope this year is full of new opportunities and blessings!

I am a cherry blossom lover also. I would love to visit a country with mass plantings of Cherry Trees. I have had to pack up and get rid of thirty years of possessions in 2016. It was very traumatic as it was followed closely by cleaning out my parents unit and the death of my mother. It’s that time of life for us I guess. I guess you are loving being home again though Nancie and having your very own apartment would be wonderful.

Oh we were thousands of miles apart in the summer yet we were doing the same thing (only double the number of year’s worth of accumulations I was cleaning out!) I just last night said to Joel that I’ve been cut off from ‘my old world of coffees and lunches with friends’ for five months – the three we’ve been here and the two last summer when all I did was slog. Beautiful photos!
