I could definitely see myself visiting these markets. I love the variety of colours and wide array of different foods. Some of it might make me feel a bit squeamish however!

Markets and particularly the ones in Asia are such great places to visit. I can do with a whole lot of the animal parts but everything else looked interesting. Thanks for the great information on ginseng. I’ve heard about its healing properties but nothing else about them.

I would love to stroll thru a market like this. I have no idea what a fourth of what I saw in your photos is but that is exactly why I would like to visit. My husband would like to see the different parts of the cow. He like soups made with all those parts. #TPThursday

21 Free Tours – that is fantastic. You could use these free walking tours to totally explore Seoul! When you are cooking in Korea, do you buy at markets or stores? I ask because sometimes when were cooking and travelling it is difficult getting across what we want and indeed what the things are lol!

I say it all the time, but I love markets anywhere. Here in Mazatlan Mexico it is common to see all parts of an animal for sale.

Yup, dog meat, saw it at a market in China…
