Char Kway Teow is the food that I miss the most from Penang. I never tried it with duck eggs, but I bet it would be sublime. And you gotta love that price. I found a food trailer in Austin, Texas that makes Char Kway Teow, but it’s a 5 plate minimum order, and each plate is US$9. Ouch! Looking at the ingredient list and directions for making it on the link you posted, I am truly wishing I could just have someone make it for me cheap.
