Hi Maria,

I really can’t tell you too much about the mud’s medicinal properties. I did like the treatment, and my skin felt and looked better afterwards. I bought some of the product, and I really like it. I particularly like the shampoo. My hair is very shiny after using it. The products are also odor free, which I like.

oh! I didn’t know the model of that beach was actually medicinal. How many minerals. Does it have? Do you happen to know if it’s even better than the Dead Sea mud? Just curious 🙂

In reply to Tonya (The Traveling Praters). The good thing is that your head is not inside the "capsule". I think that would have really bothered me. Although, when I used to do tanning beds I never had a problem being enclosed.

Oh my goodness – I would be feeling so claustrophobic in that capsule!!! But the rest of the experience sounds like fun, for sure. I’ve had some great mud spa experiences at the Dead Sea and in Iceland, so I can imagine this would be pretty cool as well!

I’ve never had a spa treatment, other than a facial or pedicure. I’ve heard that mud treatments are a great detoxifier but there is one thing that would make me really nervous- the heat bed. As you explained it, I was thinking of how much I would dislike it. It would probably freak me out. I really don’t like to be enclosed.

Yes, I’m always amazed at how reasonable spa prices can be in Asia. I had no idea that mud was such a great detoxifier. Thanks for the info.

Haven’t had a mud spa yet. Haven’t really found a place but I will be actively looking for one next time. Didn’t know it was a good detoxifier.
