I never have a bibimbap before, and your article makes me arrange a bibimbap outing next week with my friend. I’m in Sydney now, and downtown Sydney has plenty of ethnic foods. My friend knows a great bibimbap place nearby, called “Miliore”. If I go to Korea some day, I’ll try to locate the restaurant you mentioned and compare!

I know the kind of bowl you mean, and have eaten it that way many times. The bowl in this photo was not the typical hot stone, but it was very hot. The rice also got cooked very crispy. I really should have taken a shot of the finished product, but I was too busy eating!
I love Galbi too.
