Nice to discover you. I certainly enjoy your images…. We loved Portugal, and lived there for a few months…we had thought we would love Spain, given that we both speak Spanish, but it was Portugal that captured our hearts the most!

In reply to Rhonda Albom. Hi Rhonda! I loved everything about Portugal (well, a little less rain in Porto would have been nice). I had planned to return this winter, but it looks like I will be doing a Staycation in Seoul. I bought a condo in Nova Scotia, which closes next summer. The money only stretches so far. Within the next couple of years my plan is to spend 6 months in Nova Scotia (I want to get my Cdn residency back), and 6 months somewhere else. There's a good chance that will be Portugal.

In reply to Kathy Marris. Hi Kathy. I love the village/town of Alvor. In addition to the great ocean views, there's a lovely and long walkway that goes out onto a marsh. I'd like to go back again sometime and so some more exploring.

In reply to budget jan. Hi Jan! Thanks! I like Porto, but I have to say that when I go back it won't be in February (at least if I can help it). The rain was pretty much constant, and it was cold! I enjoyed my time in the Algarve. It wasn't hot, but no constant rain.

A nice mix of travel and food! The Sir Flemming Sanford Park in Halifax particularly caught my eye. I need to visit the east coast again!
