I am so glad you are researching India. I too have found the thought of India daunting, although I have read some lovely blogging about it. Hannah from Further Bound lived there for a while. I love the sound of the south also, but Jenny from A Taste of Travel really liked Rajastan. She wrote a post Travelling in Rajasthan where she recommends traveling by car. She has blogged about Kerala too. I am intrigued by your proposed Indian Trip.
