As a tea lover – I am intrigued by the sticky rice tea. We’re hopefully visiting Thailand in November and will definitely put Farm House on our must visit list.

I’m intrigued that the tea is brown even though I’ve only seen white sticky rice. Did it taste like rice? When I read the title, I pictured the liquid floating on the top of a pot of rice as you cook it. What you had seems much better. The lunch looks yummy, especially the extra attention spent on the cucumbers.

Japan is full of small tea houses like this in villages and even neighborhoods of major cities. Treasures. They just make you slow down and savor life. Beautiful pictures.
