Haha Jackie…well the sandwich might not have been all that memorable, but the company definitely was. Who would have thought you would have driven all that way and ended up at Subway!…still makes me chuckle!

We found some great Thai food in Hawaii, but it didn’t look quite as yummy as your photos show this food court to be. However I want to know how it compares to a Subway sandwich in northern Washington State? 😉 Jackie

Slurp! Another mouth-watering post. Living in France it’s so funny to hear that macarons are all the rage in Asia! They are so fashionable here but I had no idea they’d spread across the globe. But like you I’d definitely stick to the Thai food in this situation.

Hi Suzanne, There usually aren’t a lot of chilies in Khao Soi. They are always available if you want to add them. At least, that has been my experience. 🙂

One doesn’t usually associate mall food with any kind of deliciousness but your post proved that you should never judge a meal by its shiny generic-mall cover. Very interesting read. Thank you.
