Welcome to another week of Travel Photo Thursday. I have no idea where the last two weeks have gone. How can today be last day of week two of the semester? December will be here before I know it, and it’s back to Chiang Mai this winter. However, for today it’s back to Prague, and another favorite photo from this past summer.
To join in the Travel Photo Thursday fun simply post a photo on your blog. Return here and place your link in the Mr. Linky at the bottom of this post.
Please post a link to a post featuring a travel photo, not simply a link to your blog.
The Twitter hash tag for Travel Photo Thursday is #TPThursday.
As a courtesy please post a link to Budget Travelers Sandbox.

The top of the clock tower in Prague’s Old Town Square has to be the best location in Prague for taking photos. You just can’t take to many! In this shot I have focused on Prague’s imposing Saint Nicholas Church. The surrounding red/orange roofs really make it pop.

I so hear you! I don’t even know how summer is already gone and fall is already here. Beautiful pic! It’s been too long since I’ve been to Europe…
Sabrina…I can’t believe I am sitting here tonight booking my winter travel (or at least looking at fares) 🙂
The year has flown by. Another year and I haven’t been to Prague – love the photo.
Jan
EXACTLY how I feel!
Thanks Jan! I do hope you make it to Prague one of these days. Everyone seems to want to go there. Maybe we should plan a Travel Photo Thursday meet-up for some future date 🙂
You keep toying with my emotions with all these Prague pictures… 😉
Love the colors

Indeed, that tower is the perfect place to admire Prague (^_^) Beautiful photo!
Have you been to Prague?
Prague must be one of the most beautiful cities. Your photos keep reminding me that I really must plan a trip there!
Beautiful photo that got my travel bug twitching, Nancie. I love your TPThursday. . .
Where are you off to next, Jackie?
Oh, the year. September is half way done too. Anyway, it’s a beautiful photo of Prague.
Feels like we didn’t have hardly any summer up here this year, just rain, rain, rain. And now autumn is here, cold temperatures, but at last it’s sunny. And beautiful colours.
Such a great vantage point for views of Prague – and great photos!
Prague really is a stunningly beautiful city. Your photos really make me want to see it for myself. Lovely!
I love your photo of one of my favourite European cities! The architecture in your shot captures the romantic, historic, gothic character of this part of Europe – makes me want to go back in time!

I’ve loved every scenic and city overview shots you’ve posted of Prague. This one is beautiful and a great perspective from above. I really need to get to Prague soon.
Hi Mary…Yes, you do ! Seriously, I cannot imagine anyone not falling in love with Prague.

I agree about time moving quickly – and I can sure tell that fall is in the air. I had to turn the furnace on for the first time for a few hours yesterday so I didn’t freeze my visiting 80 yo mother-in-law. Great shot of Prague. I love the colours. I think a visit there is still a few years off unfortunately.
Thankfully, I think I am still at least 6 weeks away from turning the heat on!
Gorgeous photo!
I never would have pictured Prague as being so colorful. But I’m wondering if it is more colorful from the air than it is from street level? All those bright roofs.
I visited Prague in my early 20s when they were still coming out from under communism and visitors were a novelty. it was fascinating and so cheap!

Another beautiful shot of Prague to peak our interest! I also can’t wait to hear more about Chang Mai. I’ve added it to “The List.”
Shame on you for enticing me with this beautiful picture of Prague! Really need to get myself to this wonderful city.
The Prague clock tower is one of my favorite views! I love all the red roofs in this one. I’ve never taken one from there in this direction.
You’re right that the clock tower is a great place to take photos and yours are really beautiful. I took a lot there, too — but at night. Pretty any time of day.

Never been to Praque but continue to see beautiful pictures
Sadly, I never went to the top of that tower during my many visits to Prague. I think it wasn’t open to tourists back then, and then later I didn’t realize it was an option. Your photos make me want to go there right away!
